Hi! My name is Majda. I am 18 years old, currently a senior at American school of Ifrane. I live in a village named Ougmas, where I have lived my entire life with my family. I am very much passionate about becoming a Psychologist in the future, to help people. I hope to have a great last year at ASI, making as much friends as I can as well as memories.

 

What are my values? My values are things that are important to me. My first value is honesty it is something I take very seriously. I believe that honesty is the key to a good relationship and can keep friendships strong. When someone lies to me I automatically never trust them again. I feel betrayed and continue to have this feeling that they will lie to me again. Another value I have is behavior. I respect those who are kind to others and treat others the way they want to be treated. When someone has a bad behavior it makes me not want to hang out with them or be near them. These values play a big role in relationships and teamwork.

 

I believe that everyone has a right to address their opinions and give their train of thought and not be judged, laughed at or considered different. Despite if the person's idea is considered bad, people should confront the person individually and respectfully tell them and provide a solution rather than make them feel bad or embarrassed.

 

Finally, I have been waiting to become a senior and the senior project is the beginning to a exciting year. My personal why to the senior project is I see it as an opportunity to help my community in the best way possible. It gives me a chance to be there for those in need and experience new adventures. I have always been the type to want to put a smile on others faces. It is one of the many qualities I cherish about myself and am proud of. I am hoping this year becomes an awesome memory for the rest of my life. I am mostly happy to have my class beside me and be able to do the senior project together with them. This year will not be all fun and joy, there will be times we struggle and times where we want to give up. We will get through it but only if we work together using our values and beliefs. I am eager to start our projects and show people my personal why to helping our community.
