Omar Faris

I am Omar Faris, an individual who believes in things as either Black or White. I rarely try to engage in the Grey of life, a messy spectrum without an exact answer. Yet I wish to direct my entire career path into the grey area, Social Sciences. In life I generally value complete directness, from friends and classmates. I generally dislike the “beating around the bush” form of talk. If there is criticism, feel free to share; no need to try and soften the blow. Individual happiness if the why of my life. To once again elaborate, I will say that as long as an individual is in essence happy, he or she has accomplished life itself. The difficulty in this is determining the exact point and area that creates happiness in an person. Some may find it through helping and aiding others, while some find it through material accomplishment. All in all happiness is achieved through the individual and is the reason for every single person’s “why”. I may be perceived as “The Commander”, or as defined by the 16Personalities Tests states : the ENTJ. I am equally divided on extraversion and introversion. This allows me to feed off of both settings in order to gain energy. In the work force and experience I believe this enables me, or sets me in a position to do individual work which I would later present to the community. Relying on objectivity, rationality and prioritization of logic over emotions is how I prefer to deal with most situations. Furthermore, imaginative, open-minded and curious are words that generally define my thought process when trying to do work. As defined by 16Personalities I am “ A turbulent individual who is self-conscious and sensitive to stress. I am likely to experience a wide range of emotions and to be success-driven, perfectionistic and eager to improve.”
