From October 23rd to 30th our Senior Class of 2018 has been working on hosting new fundraising events for our Senior Project. On Thursday the 25th we hosted a Halloween themed movie night that revolved around horror films. The movies were Nightmare Before Christmas and Ghostbusters for Elementary and Lights Out as well as Insidious for Middle and High School. Alongside movies, we also offered foods and drinks to the audience and gained about 2000dh from this event alone. It was a success, and we are looking forward to making our next event known as Halloween Carnival the 31st of October. We have already advertised the event with posters down at ASI and our Senior Class has already met on Friday morning to discuss and brainstorm creative ideas for the event. We will be having 11 stations for the kids to play between 4 to 6 pm with a price of 50dh. We are currently contacting the administration to get chaperones, and confirmation to use rooms and materials. We are also organizing ourselves to go on a trip to Casablanca on Thursday, November 2nd to assist a conference with the Nobel Peace Prize Awardee Muhammad Yunus.
This was a productive week and we are looking towards much more coming this year!
