Eid Al Mawlid at Akhawayn School of Ifrane

Last week, the Senior Class of 2018 organized an event that meant a lot to them: Eid Al Mawlid! This event was done in order to set a tradition of people celebrating a Muslim Eid with the AUI & ASI community. Effort was clearly seen throughout this event because a professional Andaloussi band came from Fez, a Henna stand was open throughout the whole event, and traditional sweets as well as tea was served. Mothers came and had a blast: dancing, singing along, as well as zaghareet. This event was overall a success, and we are glad that that was the case.
