Zerrouka School

At the beginning of this year we all as a senior class decided to choose a project in order for us to graduate. The first that i thought of was charity in general, i thought it was going to be easy but it’s not because it takes a huge responsibility in order for it to be completed and successful. I visited the school which is Ait Daoud Ou Moussa and it is located on the road to Fes but it is in the region of Ifrane. I interviewed the two teachers in the school and what they requested was to build a surrounding wall around the school to have a safe environment and to fix the roof of a classroom. I decided at the same time if i have the ability and got sponsored i would get the students some warm clothing because of the harsh weather in Ifrane. After i visited the Tarmilalt school with the rest of the senior class it wasn’t what i expected at all because after interviewing some students, the director of the school and the teacher we got different answers. The teacher Nabila is willing to help and put all her effort to help these kids but she needs help and support that she didn’t find. I am willing to take an appointment with the teacher of the school located in Zerouka to visit them and get along with them and to see their real needs and see what i can do about it. The second idea that came to my mind lately was I will fix the roof of the school and start something that i am so passionate about. I am a person who is in love with animals and i wish i could adopt all the street animals and take care of them but unfortunately i can’t. This a pre project to help them survive and start with the necessary things for them to survive which feed them and specially water. Now the weather in Ifrane is very cold which makes it more difficult for them to hunt. By raising money i will buy animals food and every night i would go for a ride and put the food and the water in different places. If i see any animal that is injured i will take care of him and take him to a vet. This will be also involved as my senior project. At the end of the project i would like to succeed in it first and actually made a change. For the final presentation it will be based on my experience. Some AUI students are also willing to put effort and go tutor these students and make activities for them to school more fun and motivate them about it. I asked for a permission from a principal about building the wall and advised me to not do it because it has a huge responsibility and he can’t allow me because it’s the schools job to do it. As a whole senior class we meet once a week and discuss the events we are willing to do inside our school to raise money. Most of our events were successful but we still need to work harder and put more effort to it. I kind of got a little less motivated because of the permission that got denied and got disappointed because it was supposed to be the first thing to be done. Sometimes in our senior class we get few conflicts because this is how everything works and we should fnd challenges and obstacles in our way but at the end we get over them and with success. I will be working on filming a video to get more people to know about the project and if anyone is willing to help by either being a sponsor or in any way. My wish is send a message to the rest of the world and make them know who we are as a whole senior class about our efforts and projects. In our school some people from other grades are also very welcome to join and could volunteer in one of the activities that i will be giving in Zerouka. When the filming is done i will need to wait for a permission to get approved from the director of the school and the Niyaba then i would post it over social media. With the help of Driss Slaoui the founder of WeLoveBuzz, i had a small talk with him and he approved to help me and post the video. Mrs. Eddouks is the one who is guiding us and our advisor, she is always there when we need her, thanks to her i guess each one of us as senior class is satisfied with what has chosen as a project. It might not be satisfying as of now but at the end we will all be proud and satisfied with what we have done.
