I thought about something that I am very passionate about which is animals.
How will this project work?
I am still thinking of a way to support them and help them. I live in Ifrane a very small and cold city and where there is no vet or an association for these street animals. The incident that happened and encouraged me to finish this project is my cat's accident. After my cat was hit by a car and got injured badly i was so sad and saw other cats and dogs just in my neighborhood injured too. The worst thing is that they suffer a lot with the pain and no one is taking care of them or the people that torture the animals. There are also the people that are responsible of killing animals that are dangerous to the citizens even though it’s right but at the same time wrong because they don’t die they get shot and suffer a lot. As a beginning i will start feeding them everyday and giving them water.
I have contacted a group on facebook called “Protection des Animaux Au Maroc” these people are amazing because they are willing to help the animals that are in Morocco even though they’re not even Moroccan. I have read several articles about free service and there is a vet in Fes called American Fondouk he only treats donkeys, mules and horses for free and give them shelters. There is also a guy called Tarik in Meknes that also protects animals and adopts cats and dogs and whenever he finds an injured animal he takes him to a vet in Fes that takes care of them. These people raise money by making a jackpot and people start donating then the animal gets treated. I think this is something that i never saw in Morocco and it is a miraculous job that these people do and these people are willing to help me and support me as a beginner.

ANIMAL PROTECTION IN IFRANE
My final step in Senior project was to give 3 talks in 3 public schools in Ifrane which are: Essalam school, AIt Daoud ou Muussa and Al Borj. The veterinary Soumiya came from the American Foundouk located in Fes. These talk were related to my Senior Project which is helping and supporting animals. The talks were about: How to take of animals?, What can a person do if they meet an animal? In case a person is injured such dog’s bite? Soumiya talked about her experience in the American Foundouk and the animals she treated, gave some examples of the way people tortured their animals and how they suffered? The two schools located in the rural areas got informations from her since they use donkeys and mules for transportation their service is also for free. My journey in Senior Project has now ended and i have completed and reached all my goals. I fed animals around the city and made that made me see how loyal and special animals are because of the way they survive and fight to find food, water and a shelter is really hard. Even though they can’t talk but they can feel and they know how to express their emotions. As of me growing up my next goal after finishing my studies is to make a shelter for animals and take care of them. I helped cats, dogs, turtles, monkeys, ducks and pigs.
